Lawrence Ng

Lawrence Ng, the owner of Trendy Modern Optical is a well-known business man in the Asian community. He owns a spa in China town and the optical across from the Royal Alexandra Hospital, with the ambition of opening up another optical in the near future.

Dr. K. Tran

Dr. Tran was raised in Edmonton where he graduated from the University of Alberta in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science with distinction. He then graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2012 receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree on the Dean’s Honours List. He did an ocular disease rotation in Baltimore Maryland at OMNI Eye Specialists focusing on corneal pathology, cataracts, and glaucoma management. He also did his primary care rotation at various clinics in and around Edmonton. He enjoys general practice, is enthusiastic about starting his career back in Edmonton. In his spare time he enjoys attending concerts and keeping up to date with the latest and greatest tech gadgets.

Tracey Brown

Tracey Brown started in the optical industry in 1982, she got her registered optician license in 1987 and her registered contact lens practitioner license in 1998. 

Tracey provides personalized service, treating each and every client like family, she is not happy until you are.  Tracey's unique sense of style means that she will help you find a look as unique and individual as you are.  Tracey believes that finding the right pair of eyeglasses should be fun and celebrated.  "Glasses should be like a fine piece of jewelry, something you are proud of wearing not just a necessity."

Navy Lim

Navy Lim has been in the optical industry since 2002, she got her registered optician license in 2007.  She is very friendly and treats her customers like family.

Matthew Ng

Matthew Ng is currently a training optician who started in the optical industry in May 2012 and is currently registered in the optical course at NAIT.
